Let’s build together the Armenia of tomorrow

Gather

Our main ambition is to gather the Armenian diaspora and its supporters around a mobilizing project, wherever it resides and whatever its opinions.

Act

We maintain and will maintain a permanent dialogue with the Government of the Republic of Armenia, as well as with international institutions.

Develop

There is no existential struggle without a project for the future.
We have at heart to promote the influence of Armenia on the international scene.

Uniting the diaspora for a free, sovereign, democratic and European Armenia.

Manifesto of the Armenian Movement

1. Preamble & Vision

We, the members of the Armenian Movement, reaffirm our deep commitment to a free, sovereign, democratic, and European-oriented Armenia. We believe that the Armenian diaspora—especially in France and across Europe—has a central role to play in the political, cultural, and social renewal of our homeland.

Our vision is to build a bridge between Armenians worldwide and their homeland—grounded in civic action, strategic influence, and unwavering solidarity.

2. Core Missions

  • Unite Armenians in France and Europe around a common, non-partisan project.
  • Co-design a program for Armenia with members, based on participatory democracy and active consultation of the diaspora.
  • Support and structure Armenian information through external media (notably Armenieinfo.tv) to ensure free, credible, and responsible coverage.
  • Promote Armenia internationally through culture, arts, history, and strong public events.
  • Encourage individual involvement—concrete actions, political support, and civic mobilization.
  • Build strategic partnerships with French, European, and international organizations (advocacy, human rights, democracy).
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with Armenia’s authorities while preserving our critical independence.

3. Strategic Orientations (2025–2028)

  • Territorial rollout in France: create local chapters to strengthen grassroots presence and action.
  • Security and sovereignty around Armenia, with particular attention to the Syunik region and the border with Iran.
  • EU integration: seminars, conferences, and public advocacy to bring Armenia closer to EU standards and institutions.
  • Position Armenia as a regional hub in the Caucasus: foster responsible coordination and cooperation.
  • Facilitate the return of Armenians from Artsakh to their ancestral lands, in coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Reject hybrid community-based electoral systems: participate only in directly democratic elections and oppose imposed alternatives.
  • Strengthen ties with democratic Western networks: collaborate with NGOs, think tanks, and human-rights organizations.
  • Pursue critical collaboration with Armenia’s government in defense of sovereignty, security, and democracy.

4. Common Values & Principles of Action

Independence — every collaboration is conditioned by the freedom to criticize.
Transparency & accountability — toward members, donors, and partners.
Pluralism & openness — all sensibilities, generations, and opinions are welcome.
International coherence — a globally engaged diaspora, an Armenia anchored in the world.
Constructive action — concrete, measurable projects with visible impact.

5. Call to Action

Armenian citizens and friends of Armenia, we invite you to join this collective effort not as spectators but as actors. Wherever you are, your voice matters. Join, support, act, propose—every contribution helps build tomorrow’s Armenia. Together, let’s amplify the voice of the diaspora and align our energies behind a cause that transcends borders.
